I's All About the Poo

September 2006. Audrey is almost a month old. How can someone so small generate so much poo? While Brandi and I figure out how to eat and maintain some sense of personal hygiene, Audrey is thriving in this area. We work really hard to make sure she does three things - eat, sleep, and fill up her diaper. "Yea! You filled up your diaper, baby! And it's yellow/orange color! Way to go!!". Never have we had so much dialogue on color, consistency, and frequency. Enough poo.

Life is grand, really. Although the expression "having a baby changes your life in an instant" still isn't strong enough, it has opened us up spiritually to the parent/child relationship that exists between God and his children...us. It's an awesome spiritual dimension to live out as new parents. Audrey is pure joy and love for us - wonderful beyond words.
