I am so sad

It's been a while--not only since I've blogged, but since I've spent more than 30 seconds checking out ANYONE's blogs. So imagine my surprise when I visit one of my absolute faves, 'Simply Breakfast' only to discover that Jen is shutting it down at the end of this year. As in tomorrow. Boo hoo..... I'm bummed. Seriously, when I look at her simple, nourishing breakfasts served beautifully, with a simple cloth napkin on that smooth, rustic wooden table, I take a deep sigh and resolve to start my own day that same way. In peace and quiet. (Only in my world I have someone saying ' hey mommy: I want another banana. hey mommy: can I have more milk? hey mommy: can we watch a video? hey mommy: where's daddy? hey mommy: you drinkin'  your coffee?--and seriously, she says all of this within one minute.)

Back to simply breakfast:

She even takes her coffee the same color as me. :(

Boo hoo. I might have to buy her books.

Sorry everyone, I know that it's been a very long time since I last blogged.

Right now we are in Denmark for the wedding of our friends, Marian and Peter, and it's been grand.
